Luang Pho Sothorn and The Chinese Temple

[Scott:] Down the street from Ying's brother Moo's house in Chachoengsao, there's a famous Thai temple named Luang Pho Sothorn. Ying took me there while Nicholas was at school.

Next door to Luang Pho Sothorn, there's a Chinese temple, so we visited that as well. It was an amazing place, with traditional Chinese architecture and Chinese statues that were mostly unfamiliar to me.

I recognized the typical Chinese Buddha, and I think I recognized Kuan Yin, a statue often seen in Chinese restaurants.

I had never seen anything like it.
