Sukhothai

[Scott:] We are in Sukhothai, the capital of an old kingdom from the 13th to 15th centuries. It's quite a beautiful place. This is the first time any of us have been here.

Yesterday, we took a tuk tuk into the old city, to see the ruins.

The ruins were amazing.

I was interested to visit the museum and learn about the invention of Thai script by Sukhothai King Ramkhamhaeng the Great.

I got a little extra exercise carrying Nicholas when he wore out.

We collapsed in our room after a good day of site seeing. Tonight, we'll ride our bikes around the ruins, which are lit up after dark. Tomorrow, we're going to Bangkok.
